CFC Natcon – March 11, 2016 We have been in CFC community for 10 years but time really doesn’t matter. It is how deep and faithful we are in our commitment to the LORD that matters. Agnes, my wife posted a message on Facebook, asking for prayers for healing, regarding my stage 4 cancer of the blood/leukemia. This was quickly responded to by hundreds of comments and likes from brothers and sisters in the community, friends and family. Messages expressed varied emotions of anxiety, pity, anguish, fear, shock and many others. I am truly moved by this gesture of affection, warmth, care and tenderness. Some even took the time to repost the request in their timeline, informing their own circle of friends to join the rest of us in prayers. I could tangibly feel the real presence of God’s hands through these support and prayers for healing. Although, I felt sorry for those who took the news of my sickness as if it was theirs or reacted as if I was reaching a dead end.
